The CFDA Unveils the Anticipated Official New York Fashion Week Schedule for February 2026
The Council of Fashion Designers of America has unveiled the preliminary Official New York Fashion Week Schedule for the fall 2026 season, offering a glimpse into the upcoming fashion extravaganza. The highly anticipated event, set to take place from February 10th to 16th, 2026, promises a diverse lineup of runway shows and designer presentations.
The schedule highlights the return of iconic brands like Proenza Schouler, with Rachel Scott's runway debut on February 11th at noon. The week will conclude on February 16th at 5 p.m. with a designer identity yet to be revealed, adding an air of mystery to the event.
Over 60 runway shows and designer presentations are scheduled, with additional collections presented digitally and by appointment. The lineup features renowned designers such as Altuzarra, Area, Ashlyn, Bach Mai, Bibhu Mohapatra, Calvin Klein Collection, Campillo, Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano, Coach, Colleen Allen, Collina Strada, Dennis Basso, Diotima, Dwarmis, Eckhaus Latta, Elena Velez, Fforme, Heirlome, Kallmeyer, Khaite, Lafayette 148, LaQuan Smith, Michael Kors, Nardos, Norma Kamali, Prabal Gurung, Sandy Liang, Sergio Hudson, Tory Burch, TWP, Ulla Johnson, Zankov, and Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen.
Public School, helmed by Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow, and Derek Lam under the creative direction of Robert Rodriguez, will make their return to the fashion week. First-time additions include Seven For All Mankind by creative director Nicola Brognano, Ossou, Alix of Bohemia, Andrew Curwen, Caroline Zimbalist, Contessa Mills, Cult Gaia, Hilá, J. Press, Jasper, Mel Usine, Menyelek, Pipenco, and Veejay Floresca.
Ralph Lauren will present the fall 2026 collection on February 10th, a day before the official start. Several designers, including Area, Kallmeyer, Sergio Hudson, Altuzarra, Fforme, Public School, Zankov, and Aknvas, will showcase their collections in free/no-fee contracted venues as part of N4XT Experiences' NYFW Collections.
Evening shows will feature notable designers such as Tory Burch at 7 p.m. on February 11th, Michael Kors at 6 p.m. on February 12th, Sergio Hudson at 7 p.m. on February 13th, Khaite at 7 p.m. on February 14th, and LaQuan Smith at 9 p.m. on February 15th. Bibhu Mohapatra will grace the runway at 7 p.m. on February 15th, followed by Kim Shui at 8 p.m. The final slot on February 16th at 5 p.m. remains to be announced.
The CFDA NYFW Fund, established in 2022, has played a pivotal role in supporting international retailers, editors, and media stakeholders in attending NYFW across eight seasons. The CFDA NYFW Shuttle, presented by Google Shopping, continues to provide logistical support and show-to-show transit while reducing the event's carbon footprint through group ride-sharing.
Joseph Maglieri, CFDA's director of fashion week initiatives, emphasized the spirit of independence, zealous creativity, and commitment to community among designers and their businesses. He stated, 'American fashion represents singular visions meeting collection purpose, from debuts to homecomings to changing of guards, the autumn-winter 2026 lineup presents a week that speaks to resilience and a focus on the future.'
New York Men's Day, scheduled for February 11th, will showcase collections from A. Potts, Avon Anglers, Chelsea Grays, and Peak Lapel from 10:30 a.m. to noon. From 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., Christopher Lowman, Monday Blues, Studio, Science Project Co., and Wangda will present their men's collections.
